Some Leftover Pictures

My first term has ended! It has been a busy time of year and as a result I have been a major slacker on the blogging front. Here are a bunch of random images that didn't fit into my other posts.

Random barrage of images, here we go.

Sometimes we visit the tea museum close to campus:

Tea!

A market in the city:

A place where we can get delicious sushi (thank god):

Big news on campus: a bakery opened next door!!! Our campus is on the isolated side of things so the immediate access to baked goods has been a very very very exciting turn of events.

A nice view:

My Halloween costume: Rosie the Riveter (just in case anyone didn't know about my raging feminism)

Maggie introduced me to these red bean ice cream things. SO GOOD!

Maggie demonstrating that Korea really is the cutest country.

Kat and I went to this lovely cafe one afternoon and then we swam! Not bad for November.

Korean BBQ is exactly what it sounds like. You're in Korea, and you BBQ. DELISH!

We have a suggestions box for the girls of Magnolia and we read the comments at our weekly meetings. The responses have been hilarious:

A moustache.

Blake's boys took care of chickens for a week so I was thankful for something fluffy to pet:

Sometimes I walk here when I'm bored on my days off:

This robot kid is my hero:

My door, which includes my Halloween selfie, and a sign to knock before entering (which I initially posted up side down).

Tangerines are in season and they are EVERYWHERE.

A lovely lunch with lovely ladies.

The aerospace museum was excellent! So much learning!

I absolutely LOVE the wash of Korean, and the singular English word "Potato."

We did a hike:

And then we swam! In November the air is cool but the water is surprisingly warm.

Thanksgiving: being thankful for messages like these from your more challenging students:

Our thanksgiving dinner was shipped from the US army. It was DELISH (and a much needed boost)!

It's getting chilly on campus!

An example of the amazingness that is Korean Christmas cards.

Shila's stationary factory continues. Apparently it rubbed off on Blake.

Magnolia had a big night out in the big city as a year-end treat:

All you can eat sushi bars are hilarious when you can't read anything. Me: YUM! A TUNA ROLL! Maggie: That is raw beef.

I love E.T!

We went to this hilarious/amazing photo booth store for these gems.

Examples of visual overload while shopping in Korea:

FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR SPAM! Actually it's roughly $15/pack. Hilariously, Spam is a treat in Korea.
